My family and I had an 8-day vacation at a few cities of Australia. I just admire Australia’s wonderful scenery, especially their famous Opera House just in front of their harbour bridge. First stop was Sydney ! The city seemed so big especially with all the streets and shortcuts you could find to different places. But despite everything, most of their shops and areas are more or less, walking distances. ( at least that’s lots of money you could probably save from all the taxis) In our country, we are usually extra careful especially walking on the streets, but in sydney, i care lesser since being there and walking around their city seems so safe. There are lots and lots of things to do in Sydney, although things, tours and souvenirs are quite expensive there. Next stop was a trip to the blue mountains! We stayed in a guest house in Katoomba. Katoomba was more likely a province in their country. While I and my sister were walking in their streets, it seemed as if everything was so solemn and their area were more on houses rather than shops. It is there that we saw the “3 sisters” rocks. Legend says that 3 young women in a tribe fell in love with men from their enemy’s tribe. Thus leading these women to go to a witch, thinking the witch could help them solve their problem. So these 3 women asked the witch to help them stop the mess that they made. The witch granted their wish and turned them into 3 stones. After all the tours in the blue mountains, we then went back to the guest house we were staying in, Avonleigh, just beside their famous chocolate cafe. The day after, we then head out to one of their cities, Blacktown. There, i met my first koalas and kangaroos in their awesome zoo, featherdale. Featherdale was most likely one of the zoos that made me go WOW! It’s zoo made it sure that their animals and their guests would feel nature itself with animals just walking around. After, we headed back to sydney! We had dinner at the Sydney Tower, in their revolving restaurant and dinner at their Sydney Showboat cruises! The entertainment at the showboat was very good! Good singers and good dancers performed! Sydney was one amazing vacation with me and my family during the semester break. It was a once in a lifetime experience!
